Anthony Dale ‘Tony’ Wutka, 77, passed away June 23, 2025, at The University of Kansas Health Systems – ER, Great Bend, Kan. He was born on Sept. 12, 1947, in Bethlehem, Penn., to Michael J. ‘Mickey’, Sr. and Verla M. (Gable) Wutka. On March 17, 1967, he married Nancy C. Roth in Allentown, Penn. She passed on April 23, 2021.

A resident of Great Bend since 2024 coming from Texas, Anthony spent his working years as an electrical engineer – 30 years with IBM and 7 years with Texas Instruments. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Anthony was active with Newcomers of McKinney, Texas, and a volunteer with JobCorp in Plano, Texas. He enjoyed carpentry, electronics repair, bowling, golfing, playing all kinds of games especially card games, and spending time with grandchildren.

Survivors include daughter, Amy Moore and husband Mark of Pownal, Vt.; son, Adam Wutka and wife Aimee of Great Bend; five grandchildren, Mac Wutka of McKinney, Texas, Nathan Wutka, Ben Wutka, Isaac Wutka and Gabriel Wutka, all of Great Bend; two brothers, Michael ‘Mickey’ Wutka, Jr. and wife Nancy, and Chet Wutka, all of Florida; two sisters, Eleanor Graves and Clara Masessa, both of Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Ginny Wutka of Connecticut; daughter-in-law, Tammy Huerta; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife; son, Andrew D. Wutka; his parents; brother, Tom Wutka; brothers-in-law, Paul Graves and Tony Masessa; and sister-in-law, Rosemary Wutka.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2025, at St. Mark Lutheran Church with Reverend Adam Wutka presiding. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Riverview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas.
