Beverly Frey Nichols, 86, passed away on Dec. 8, 2025. She was born Sept. 16, 1939, to Frank E. and Gladys L. Frey in Great Bend, Kan. 

She passed peacefully, holding the hands of her loving son Shonny R. Nichols, and is also survived by nieces and nephews Rene (Paul) Weese, Kristy (Benji) Hennessey, Brian Frey, Erin (Tomas) Stangel, Ryan Frey, Marrisa Frey, and family friend Tiffany Feemster. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Johnny C. Nichols; younger sister Karen K. Frey; and older brother Jonathan T. Frey. 

Beverly loved her family deeply, loved animals and nature, and had a delightful sense of humor and adventure. She worked for the CIA, traveled extensively, and enjoyed flying with her husband. She spent her retirement years in the place she loved most in the world, Shady Grove Farm in Great Bend where she was raised. She was always most in her element there and loved the land, heart and soul. 

The family will honor her in a private remembrance.
