HOISINGTON — Deanna Sue Vincent, 79, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at Via Christi St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita, Kan. Deanna was born on Oct. 30, 1940, to Vivian Theron and Adeline Faye (Brandon) Bryant. Deanna and Robert "Bob" Eugene Vincent were married in Hoisington, Kan., on Dec. 23, 1956, celebrating 63 years of marriage together.

Deanna was a graduate of a Kansas City Kansas Beauty School. She and Bob moved to Hoisington, where she was a housewife, caring for her two sons, before working on the line at Fuller Brush, as a med-aid at The Manor, and finally retiring as the Housekeeping Supervisor at the Clara Barton Hospital. She was a compassionate soul and loved by many. She enjoyed attending school and sporting events of her sons, grandkids, great grandkids, as well as nieces and nephews. She was a giving member of the New Life Baptist Church.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Deanna is survived by her husband, Bob, of the home; her son, James E. Vincent (Laura) of Huntsville, Ala.; her sister, Lana Karen Lyon (Tim), of Liberal, Kan.; her two grandchildren April Irene VanScyoc (LaShon) and Julia Ellen Rosekrans; and her three great grandchildren, Ki, Nora, and Ella VanScyoc. Deanna was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Robert Vincent and Todd Aaron Vincent; and her brother, Dempsey Theron Bryant.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at the Hoisington Cemetery with Pastor Denny Lewis, of New Life Baptist Church, presiding. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home.
