In Loving Memory of Doc Hazen

July 6, 1945 – July 10, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Doc Hazen, who left this world on July 10, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on July 6, 1945, Doc lived a full and meaningful life marked by love, family, and quiet strength.

Doc was the beloved husband of Carol Hazen, with whom he shared 58 wonderful years of marriage, years filled with laughter, family and friends. 

He was a proud and devoted father to Dion Hazen, Ty Hazen, and Dawn Clark, and a loving father-in-law to Gina Hazen, Sarah Hazen, and John Clark. Doc found great joy and pride in his role as a grandfather to Ben and Leanne Wynne-Davies, Austin Kane, Lauren Hazen, Emily Hazen, Katie Hazen, Kendyl and Colton Hayes, Lindsey Hazen, Logan Hazen, Thomas and Lynsey Alwes, Seth and Kaylyn Forehand, and his great grandchildren, Archie Davies and Hudson Forehand.

Doc will be remembered for his quiet humor, his unwavering attention to detail and his love of family. Whether at home with Carol or surrounded by the sounds of family sharing a meal and laughing, Doc always found joy in the simple things.

A private family service will be held to honor Doc’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hold your loved ones close and take a moment to share a story, a laugh—just as Doc would have wanted.
