Gregory Allen ‘Greg’ Rowe, 64, passed away July 29, 2025, surrounded by family at Ascension Via Christi – St. Francis, Wichita, Kan. He was born on Oct. 17, 1960, to Bill and Pat (Sumner) Rowe. On April 4, 1981, he married Jo Melton in Great Bend.

A resident of Great Bend since 1969, Greg worked as a field manager for GK Environmental Services. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and experiencing all the emotions of being an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Greg most cherished time spent with family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of the home; daughter, Stacy Bouse and husband Jarrod of Great Bend; son, Marc Rowe and wife Lynea of Great Bend; six grandchildren, Cayden Bouse, Clinton Bouse, Melanie Bouse, Allie Rowe, Trenton Rowe, and Trevor Rowe; brother, Bill Rowe and wife Brenda of Great Bend; sister, Kris Smolik and husband Ken of Great Bend; sister-in-law, Charlotte Rowe of Enid, Okla.; and numerous extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert “Bob” Rowe.

Cremation has taken place. A come-and-go Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Black Walnut Event Venue, 292 NE 10 Ave., Great Bend, KS 67530.
