Jazmin Dawn Battaglear, born Oct. 9, 2003, to Heather Battaglear and Craig Braswell of Great Bend, Kan., died Oct. 14, 2025, at her home in Great Bend, Kan. She attended Great Bend High School and graduated from Hesston High School in 2022. She spent the last year of her life helping to care for her ailing grandfather.

Jazmin is survived by her grandparents, Harold and Kathy Orth of Great Bend, Kan.; her two brothers, Jason Battaglear of Great Bend and Danyan Battaglear, wife Samantha; and two nephews, Weston and Mateo Battaglear of St. John, Kan. She is also survived by two aunts; an uncle; 11 cousins; and eight second cousins, whom she looked after whenever possible. Jazmin was predeceased by her mother, Heather Battaglear, also of Great Bend, Kan.

Although her life was brief, she made a lasting impact on those around her. She was a kind, accepting, and forgiving soul. She mattered and will be missed. May God bless and comfort her, as we could not, despite our efforts. Until we meet again, sweet girl.
