SALIDA, Colo. — Jean Angela Graf, age 84 of Salida, passed away on Oct. 2, 2024 at the Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center in Salida. Mrs. Graf was born July 29, 1940 in Quinter, Kan. to Balthazer and Angela (Von Lintel) Richmeier.

Mrs. Graf and her husband moved to Salida in 1966. She was a past member of the Daughters of Isabella, the American Legion Auxiliary, a life member of the Girl Scouts of America, where she was Unit Manager in Salida from 1985-1991 and St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Mrs. Graf is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, son Karl Graf, daughter Sara Graf, sisters Agnes Geist, Marge Mealer, Rosalee Urban and Pat Graf. Brothers Frank Richmeier, Gerald Richmeier, Valerian Richmeier and William Richmeier. She is survived by her daughter Celeste Graf-Ellis of Salida, Colo., adopted daughter Kristi (Isiah) White and their children Shelby and Angelique White of Florida, sisters Sophie Breit of Kan., Roberta Reitcheck of Kan. Daughter-in-law Margaret Marcucci, step-grandchildren Brian, Nathaniel and Amanda Green along with many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass is set for 1 p.m. Friday Oct. 25, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Friends who desire may make memorial contributions to either Heart of The Rockies Regional Medical Center or Chaffee County EMS. Online condolences may be sent to the family at lewisandglenn.com.
