SUSANK — In loving memory of Jerry Lee Lindquist. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry, age 90, who left us peacefully on Nov. 5th, 2024, surrounded by his beloved family. A man of boundless love, humor, and resilience, Jerry touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, service, and love.

Born on May 24, 1934, Jerry grew up in Susank, Kan., before embarking on a life full of adventure and purpose. He proudly served in the Air Force in Korea, demonstrating unwavering dedication as a patriot throughout his life.

Above all else, Jerry loved his wife, Nancy, more than anything in the world. Their marriage of 68 years was a testament to true love, and his devotion to her was evident in every part of his life. He was also a proud father and grandfather and enriched his family with his wisdom, humor, and warmth.

Hardworking and ambitious, Jerry was always striving to do his best, whether in his career, his relationships, or his personal goals. He approached each day with purpose, determination, and a focus on looking on the bright side of life, no matter the circumstances. He loved to joke around. His ability to find the bright side, even in the toughest of times, and his refusal to let life’s challenges bring him down were hallmarks of his character.

He found great joy in playing golf, often seen on the green with a smile and a competitive spirit. A lifelong fan of the Denver Broncos, he followed their games with loyalty and was always eager to provide feedback on their performance. What truly set him apart was his heart—he was the first to check on those around him, always making sure that each member of his flock was well cared for and supported.

Jerry is survived by his wife Nancy; children Jeff (Lisa) and Stacey; and grandchildren Alicia, Kristin (Randy), and Eric; his great-grandson Noah; his brother Jay (Ann); and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His laughter, love, and optimistic spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were touched by his life.

The family will hold a celebration of Jerry’s life at a later date. Though he is no longer with us, Jerry’s memory will live on in the stories, laughter, and love he shared with all who knew him.
