Linda Katherine Francis, 65, passed away Aug. 6, 2025, surrounded by family at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kan. She was born on July 6, 1960, in Great Bend, Kan., to Clifford ‘Cliff’ and Janet (Polzin) Bieberle. On Jan. 8, 1986, she married Todd Francis on a mountain top in Winter Park, Colo.

Survivors include her husband of the home; daughter, Samantha Elsen and husband Alex of Great Bend; four grandsons; two brothers; two sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, at the Black Walnut Event Venue, 292 NE 10 Ave., Great Bend, Kan. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to the American Cancer Society or Barton County Reserves, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
