Marilyn Joan Kasselman

Marilyn Joan Kasselman, 87, passed away on Feb. 18, 2026, at Ellinwood Hospital, in Ellinwood, Kan. She was born Oct. 19, 1938, in Wellington, to Lawrence and Cora (Helton) Davis. She married George Robert Kasselman May 20, 1956, in Ellinwood. He passed away on Oct. 10, 2016.

Marilyn worked for J.C. Penney’s, Security State Bank, then found her place at People’s State Bank. She was a former member of Fellowship of Faith. Marilyn was an avid fan of Elvis and collected his memorabilia. She loved to entertain and host friends and family. She would lovingly assemble hors d’oeuvres, meals, and sweet treats for her guests. She was a talented quilter and loved to sew. Marilyn enjoyed the beauty of a variety of flowers. She worked diligently to tend to her yard and would sit and enjoy the fruits of her labors in the beauty created from her hands. Her greatest pleasure was her grandkids and great grandchildren. They were her pride and joy.

Survivors include son, Mike Kasselman and his wife Patti of Great Bend; daughters, Sandy Reavis and her husband Keith of Great Bend, Debbie Perry and her husband Bart of Pottsboro, Texas, Brenda Musgrove and her husband Steve of Great Bend; grandchildren, Brock Kohls (Nicole), Breanna Gibson (fiancé Jamie Crowson), Sydney Kowalczyk (Bill), Jodi Grove (Hendrick), Luke Musgrove, Jeff Reavis (Andrea), Sarah Gunn (Leyton), Amber Lucchesi (Nick), Kacee Kasselman (fiancé Marcus Santoro); great grandchildren, Alexis Dulaney, Lila Dulaney, Iva Kohls, Harper Reavis, Haisley Reavis, Haven Reavis, Nolan Lucchesi, Oaklee Lucchesi; and sister, Joyce Rose. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 50 years; sisters, Delores Willinger and Bessie DeWerff; and brother Lawrence ‘L.D.’ Davis.

A private family graveside service will be held Monday, Feb. 23, 2026. Visitation will be available from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026, with family receiving guests from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Bryant Funeral Home.
