Melvin Lea, 73, passed away March 1, 2019, at Hays Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his mother Ruby Dean; his father Walter Lea; two brothers, Marvin Lea and Jimmy Lea; and a sister Norma Gray. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, at Springdale Cemetery in Chase with Rev. Dick Ogle presiding.
