Pedro Hernandez, 80, passed away on Sept. 9, 2025 at home in Great Bend, Kan. Pedro was born on Oct. 23, 1944 in Manuel Benavidez, Mexico to the late Justinian and Esperanza Carrasco.

Pedro was a feed yard worker. Additionally, Pedro was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend.

Pedro was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and two sisters. Pedro is survived by his wife, Teodora Hernandez; children, Uvelia, Endelia, Abelia, Emilio, Emelia, Annaelia, Arcelia, and Liliana; as well as many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and extended family members.

Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 12, 2025 during the day at the Asamblea Apostolica De La Fe En Cristo Jesus, 3920 Forest Ave, Great Bend, KS 67530. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, 1 p.m. at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 1412 Baker, Great Bend, Kan. Burial will follow at Great Bend Cemetery North in Great Bend, KS.
