GREAT BEND - Rizalina de Guia Hayes, 68, passed away September 25, 2020, at the University Of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus. She was born on December 30, 1951, to Guillermo de Guia and Angelina Obin, at Cavite Luzon, Philippines. She married Joseph Hayes on August 19, 1973, at San Antonio, Zambales, Phillipines.  He survives. 

Coming from Maine in 1990, Rizalina was a Great Bend resident. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid bingo lover and enjoyed gardening.  

Survivors include, her husband, Joe Hayes of the home; a daughter, Kelly Dugan and husband Evan of Colorado Springs; and two sisters, Rosa Denis and husband David of Virginia Beach, Va., and Rufina Cabalu of Cavite Luzon, Phillipines. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Sean Hayes; two brothers, and a sister. 

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Schumacher presiding. Memorials are suggested to the Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
