Ronald LeRoy Unruh, 93, passed away December 4, 2020, at his home in Great Bend. He was born November 24, 1927, at Great Bend, to Arline S. & Frances L. (Turpin) Unruh. He married his wife Shirley Rosenthal on October 28, 1964. She passed away on January 21, 1979.

A lifetime Great Bend resident, Ronald was retired from the United States Navy. He enjoyed woodworking and being with his father. 

Survivors include, two brothers, Herbert Unruh and wife Patty of Lyons, and Lester Unruh and wife Bonnie of Hendersonville, Mo.; four nieces, Cheryl, Karen, Andrea, and Mandy; and a nephew, Scott. He was preceded in passing by his parents; and wife, Shirley Unruh.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 11, 2020, at Great Bend Cemetery, with Pastor Lester Unruh presiding, with military rites will be conducted by the United States Navy.
