Rose Marie Willard

Rose Marie Willard, 76, passed away March 12, 2026, in Great Bend, Kan. She was born Sept. 26, 1949, in Great Bend, to Raleigh and Dorothy (Sellens) Radke. 

Rose married Lonnie Willard Aug. 6, 1995, in Great Bend. She worked for Natural Gas Pipeline before becoming owner and operator of The Laundry Chute for 30 years. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion and V.F.W. Auxiliary. She was extremely proud and patriotic of our military and was active as a Legion Rider and served as their historian. Rose loved to dance and would jump in at the opportunity to cut loose. 

Survivors include her husband, Lonnie Willard; twin daughters, Lisa Funk of Great Bend, Rachel Rowe and her husband Randy of Park City; sister, Laura Sekevack; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, Bruce Nelson Furrey, Jr.; sister, Laura Sekevack; twin brother, Jake Radke; and brothers, Warren Radke and Donald Radke; and one grandchild.

Per Rose’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
