EL DORADO — Vincent Edward Daugherty, 63, passed away on March 13, 2026. Born Sept. 2, 1962, in El Dorado, Kan., Vince spent most of his life in Great Bend. He was known as a hard worker, spending many years in the oil field and in construction, never afraid of long hours or getting his hands dirty. Later in life, he enjoyed working on small engines.

Vince had a lifelong love of cars, race culture, and collecting sports cards. He valued time spent with family.

He is survived by his sons Derek (Tommie), Shane, Kaulin (Briana) and their son Jacob, and Dylan (Pam); his siblings Norman, Genny, and Steven; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Connie Daugherty; his brother James; and his sister‑in‑law Tina.

A Celebration of Life will be held May 2 at 4 p.m. at Solid Word Ministries in Great Bend, Kan.
