Reader likes idea of mailed ballots

To the editor,

I was pleased to read the article in the Tribune: “Those with mailed ballot must vote with that ballot” (July 30 issue). I believe in mail ballots and with the novel coronavirus COVID-19, I think such ballots are proper and voters should do as instructed by using the ballot mailed to them. That assures voters retain their right to vote, while it helps prevent the rare instances of voter fraud, which are few. Voting is a fundamental right. Let’s do it right, so we can retain that option.
