Brent Moss rescued the No. 2 Barton Cougars 75-72 past Northern Oklahoma-Enid with a career high 27 points and 15 rebounds in Friday's Best Western/Booster Club Classic. Moss secured the victory with a pair of free throws for the Cougars (4-0).

Enid's Riley Shore missed the potential go-ahead basket and tying 3-pointer in the final minute.

Barton (4-0) plays Harry S. Truman, Ill. Saturday. NOC-Enid (4-2) challenges No. 15 ranked Hutchinson.

Moss put together two solid halves to post personal bests of 27 points and 15 rebounds, none larger than securing the rebound from NOC-Enid's go-ahead attempt with 1:24 left before sinking a pair of pressure free throws after grabbing two of his eight offensive rebounds sixteen seconds later completing his 7-of-8 shooting from the stripe.

NOC-Enid posting a 7-point advantage six minutes into the contest. Barton's led by eight points coming 1:14 after halftime.

The Cougars dominated inside for 30-of-35 free throws to offset the Jets' 30-15 scoring from long range.

Modibo Sanogo's inside presence resulted in six trips to the stripe, sinking 10-of-12 on the way to a season high 16 points while grabbing 3 of his 5 rebounds from the offensive glass.

Cougar point guard Keandre Kindell silently stuffed the stat sheet going 8-for-8 from the line towards his 12 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, dishing out a game high 7 assists, and provided countless big moment plays including a baseline jumper with 2:25 left pushing Barton's lead to three.

Four Jets reached double figures in being led by Oryne Stewart's 4-of-8 long distance shooting off the bench for 18 points.  Dontrell Yearby and Jordan England added 11 points while Nate Brown contributed 10 points.

Northern Oklahoma (4-2) was led by Oryne Stewart with18 points and Dontell Yearby and Jordan England added 11 apiece.
