WICHITA — Otis-Bison's Gavin Alloway earned a pair of third-place medals in the 1A triple jump (44-41/4) with a season-best jump and third in the long jump (21-01/2).

St. John's 1,600-meter relay placed second (3:38.4) with Jericho Mawhirter, Jace Reyes, Braxton Alpers and Quade Smith.

Stafford's Josue Valadez ran a season-best (10:01.86) to place seventh in the 1A 3,200 meters. 

Other medalists included St. John's Quade Smith, fourth, 1,600, *4:33.34 and eighth, 800, 2:04.04;  Central Plains' Taylin Davis, seventh, 3,200 (12:13.48); Chase's Malik Carson, sixth, 100 (11.28); seventh, 200 (22.97); Otis-Bison's Destiny Mitchell, seventh, 800 (2:29.7); and Pawnee Heights Tiger Brady Carlson, eighth long jump (20-8).
