Larned (7-3, 1-0 CKL) led 37-11 at halftime and coasted home. Centhiyah Bankston led Nickerson (0-11, 0-3 CKL) with 11 points.

LARNED 72, NICKERSON 54 — Larned's 6-7 Kylier Greene powered inside for 32 points to pace a 72-54 Central Kansas League basketball victory over Nickerson. The Panthers was unable to defend Greene without standout post player Riley Brawner, who was suspended for Tuesday's game after drawing a technical foul Monday against Haven.

Larned's Tristan Regan scored 14 points and Grady Pinkston added 10 points. Nickerson's Easton Clifford made a dazzling varsity debut with 24 points off eight 3-pointers. Austin Peterson added 17 points.
