CENTRAL PLAINS GIRLS 47, TMP 30 —  Central Plains Oiler Marilyn Soeken stayed red hot with 20 points and Aevyn Siemsen added 10 points in a 47-30 non-league basketball victory over Hays Thomas More Prep. The No. 7 state-ranked 1A Oilers (5-1) outscored the Monarchs 25-12 after halftime.
