HOISINGTON — After breezing past Larned 12-1, Hoisington's softball team rallied from a 5-0 deficit for a walk off 7-6 victory to sweep Tuesday's Central Kansas League twin bill.

CARDINALS 7, LARNED 6 (G2) — Reese Vaughn singled in Marly Brewer in the seventh inning as the Cardinals (8-0, 4-0 CKL) rallied from a 5-0 deficit with seven runs.

The Indians (0-4, 0-2 CKL) forged ahead with a 5-run first inning.

Brooke SImmons singled in Eowyn Hedding. Crosby singled in SImmons. Kendra Marvin scored on an error. Jadyn Crosby and Gillian Smith scored on Jozlyn Mead's double.

Cardinal Fredering singled in Strong. Griffin tripled and scored.

Larned's Brileigh Stahlecker scored on an error for a 6-2 lead. Reece Vaughn and Myah Frederking scored on Brynn Tarlton's triple. Tarlton scored on Reece Aylward's single for a 6-5 score.

Hoisington's Mary Griffin scored on a sixth-inning wild pitch for a 6-6 tie.

CARDINALS 12, LARNED 1 (G1) — Hoisington's Mary Griffin blasted a 3-run fourth-inning homer and Kelsi Maier ripped a 2-run first-inning homer to spark the Cardinals.

Brewer, Aylward and Maier delivered RBIs in a 5-run third inning.

Brewer and Reese Vaughn drove home runs and Griffin's 3-run homer keyed a 5-run fourth inning.

Larned's Kendra Marvin hit a fifth-inning home run.
