NESS CITY — Ellinwood 's past state qualifiers EleanorJoiner (21:44.1) and Ryan Pohlman (17:39.1) placed runner-up at Thursday's Central Prairie League cross country meet.
Other top 10 girls finishers were Macksville's 5th-place Kennedy Butler (22:41.0); Ellinwood's 7th-place Jenna Borror (23:54.4) and Ellinwood's 8th-place Ali Gonzalez (23:58.8).
Other top 10 boys medalists were St. John's 3rd-place Aaden Gonzalez (17:59.7); Central Plains' 5th-place Cale Thompson (18:17.6) and Ellinwood's 10th-place Shae Hoskins (18:32.7).
NESS City's girls and boys won the CPL titles ahead of Ellinwood.
