PRATT — Ellinwood's red-hot Cohen Dunn delivered a record-breaking twin bill with 10 runs scored, 21 total bases, 11 runs batted in and 10-for-10 batting to spark the Eagles past Pratt Skyline 20-6 and 31-11 in Friday's baseball doubleheader.
The Eagles (2-4) broke a school record with 31 runs in a single game. Skyline (0-4) has yielded 87 runs in four games.
ELLINWOOD 20, SKYLINE 6 (G1) — Cohen Gunn tripled twice, doubled, drove home five runs and scored five runs with a 4-for-4 game.
Cooper Gunn drove home five runs with a trio of singles. Banks Jacobs delivered two RBI. Campbell Coleman and Shae Hoskinson drove home runs.
Skyline contributed 12 walks, six hit batters and six wild pitches. The Eagles capped the day with a 14-run fourth inning.
Skyline's Aaron Lucas drove in two runs.
ELLINWOOD 31, SKYLINE 11 (G2) — Cohen Gunn finished a 10-for-10 day with a double, triple, homer and three singles to complete the baseball cycle along with six RBI and five runs scored.
Noah Herrman drove home three runs. Also contributing RBI were Drake Hosman, Campbell Coleman, Trace Tudor, Hoskinson and Cade Coleman.
Skyline contributed 16 walks, four hit batters and nine errors that led to 12 unearned runs. The Eagles capped the day with a 14-run fourth inning.
Skyline's Keegyn Washington drove home two runs.
