PAOLA — The Great Bend Bombers 14-and-under baseball team yielded 29 runs while going 1-2 at the Paola Tournament.

TOPEKA D-BACKS 17,  BOMBERS 4 — The Bombers permitted an 8-run and 7-run inning to lose 17-4 to the Topeka Diamondbacks. The Bombers walked eight batters and committed five errors. Grant Lenherr Jaxton Zabokrtsky each drove in three runs. Cole Graves and Creighton Van Vleck drove in two runs a piece.

Bomber Jamison Stoney singled in Crawford Kaiser and Kade Thexton. Carter Dreiling doubled home Christian Alcala.

BOMBERS 19, MANHATTAN WOLVES 2 — The Bombers exploded for 19 runs. Alcala homered, tripled and doubled while driving home six runs. Koby Council drove home three runs. Bryce Burton, K.J. Cell, Thexton and Dreiling each drove in one run.

BUHLER NATIONALS 10, BOMBERS 2  — Buhler's pitching held the Bombers to three hits. Cell and Kaiser scored runs.

Buhler's Jack Welch and Tristan Roberts each drove in two runs.
