Bombers finish 0-3 weekend

GODDARD — The Great Bend Bombers (21-16-1) dropped three games at the weekend Goddard Tournament.

ASTROS 3, BOMBERS 2 — Astro Dax Simmons drove in two runs.

Bombers pitcher Gavin Wondra struck eight batters. Carter Dreiling singled in Christian Alcala. Alcala doubled and Bryce Burton tripled. 

DIAMOND DAWGS 8, BOMBERS 3 — Bomber Alcala scored two runs and Wondra scored a run.

BUHLER NATIONALS 4, BOMBERS 3 — Buhler converted eight walks and two errors into four runs. Buhler scored all four runs without a base-hit RBI.

Wondra scored on a balk. K.J. Cell scored on Kellan Chansler's bunt. Burton scored on Koby Council's single.
