Hoisington wins three events at Hesston track

HESSTON — Hoisington's Taylen Morales captured the pole vault (13-0) and Layton Hoffman won the discus (163-21/2) with a season-best throw. Hoffman placed runner-up in the shot put (49-51/2) with a season-best throw. Joseph Hekele placed second in the high jump (5-2).

GIRLS DIVISION — Hoisington's 400-meter relay (50.6) placed first with Reese Merlau, Kinley Wilkens, Addison Hanzlick and Marley Bittel. Bittel placed second in the 200 (26.02) and third in the 100 (12.31) and 400 (1:00.2).
