LA CROSSE — Larned standout Kaylee Hagerman earned a trio of gold medals in the 200 (27.88), long jump ( 17-81/2) and triple jump (35-11) at Thursday's La Crosse Track Invitational.
Hagerman ran a leg on the runner-up 400-meter relay (52.76). Larned Indian Cadee Upson was runner-up in the discus (102-1).
St. John earned runner-up finishes by Reagan Bonner, triple jump (34-5); Mia Meyer, high jump (5-0); and the 1,600-meter relay (4:30.86).
Macksville's Mayce Russell placed second in the javelin (124-0). Otis-Bison's girls placed second in the 3,200-meter relay (11:46.75).
LA CROSSE BOYS — Central Plains Oiler Blaine Hickel earned a trio of gold medals in the 100 (11.73), 200 (23.61) and long jump (21-61/2) at Thursday's La Crosse Track Invitational. Hickel ran a leg on the Oilers' runner-up 400-meter relay (45.75).
Otis-Bison's Gavin Alloway placed first in the triple jump (41-21/2).
St. John's Quade Smith placed runner-up in the 800 (2:11.1) and 1,600 (5:07.63).
