CHENEY — Larned medalist Erin Tims (92) sparked the Indians (436) to a third-place finish to qualify the Indians for the 3-1A state golf tournament.

Also counting for the Indians were seventh-place Ariana Meyer, 105; 11th-place Taeten Reynolds, 109; and 23rd-place Autumn Holopirek, 128. Holopirek highlighted the day with a birdie at the 14th hole.

Hoisington's Kaylee Shives (111) tied for 13th and qualified as an individual for the 3-1A state golf tournament at Emporia Oct. 21-22.
