CENTRAL CHRISTIAN GIRLS 53, MACKSVILLE 40 — Macksville's Daniela Reyes was brilliant with a 20-point night and Heidy Ortiz contributed 14 points in a hard-fought 53-40 non-league basketball loss to Hutchinson Central Christian. 

Central Christian (5-1) featured Jessa Losew with 19 points and Avery Kauffman added 12 points. The Cougars took control with a 17-7 edge in the second quarter in a highly-competitive game.

CENTRAL CHRISTIAN 48, MACKSVILLE 33 — Central Christian's Piercen Huff scored 26 points and sidekick Cal Barnett added 15 points in a 48-33 non-league basketball victory over Macksville. The Cougars gained an advantage with second-chance points.
