Oilers' runner places third at Ness City

NESS CITY — Central Plains Oiler Taylin Davis (20:49.3) earned third medalist honors in Thursday's McCracken Ness City cross country invitational. Davis placed seventh in last spring's 3,200 meters in 1A.

Hoisington's Brody Rossman (17:38.3) paved the Cardinals with a seventh-place boys medal. Cardinal Tianna Lutters (22:38.71) just missed a top 10 medal with an 11th-place finish.

Ness City's Broxton Gall (16:23.7) was the boys medalist. Ellis' Avery Boydston (19:15) was the girls medalist.
