MELVERN — Otis-Bison back Gavin Alloway scored seven touchdowns in a 54-0 victory over Marais Des Cygnes Valley in a 6-man football playoff game. The Cougars beat Marais Des Cygnes for the second consecutive year.

Alloway scored on runs on 30, 32, 41, 48 and 59 yards. Quarterback Maddox Firebaugh completed 17- and 45-yard scoring passes to Alloway. Kelson Juno caught a 19-yard scoring strike from Firebaugh.

Alloway has rushed for more than 750 yards and 18 touchdowns. Firebaugh has thrown for more than 750 yards and 13 scores.

Otis-Bison (5-5)  has lost to state-ranked Cunningham, South Barber and Tescott and twice to Ashland-Bucklin, which formed a co-op team after missing its 8-man schedule.

 Otis-Bison's Gavin Alloway has rushed for 537 yards and 13 touchdowns. Maddox Firebaugh has thrown for 641 yards and 10 scores. 

Marais des Cygnes Valley's Landon Reed has thrown for 1,062 yards and Ricky Traver has rushed for 861 yards and 12 touchdowns.

PAWNEE HEIGHTS 51, CHEYLIN 6 -- Pawnee Heights (6-4) dominated Cheylin 51-6 to cruise into a quarterfinal rematch with South Barber. 

Cody Holste gained 251 yards and scored five rushing touchdowns on runs of 15, 40, 47, 48 and 64 yards. He scored on a 50-yard interception return to end the ballgame. Alexis Ibarra rushed for 140 yards and scored on 25- and 42-yard runs. 

Helder Ibarra created three tackles for 24 yards in losses.  Brynnen Cody contributed two tackles, four assists, a sack and fumble recovery. Cooper Josefiak's tackle caused a fumble.

South Barber (8-1) downed the Tigers 58-12 Oct. 17. South Barber quarterback Austin Swonger has thrown for 1,649 yards and 38 touchdowns. He's rushed for 475 yards and seven scores.Garen Cantrell has 17 receiving scores and Steele Smith 16 receiving touchdowns.

The Tigers shook off back-to-back losses to South Barber and Ingalls by rolling to an 83-6 win over Triplains/Brewster. Cody Holste scored six touchdowns. He rushed for two touchdowns, caught a TD pass, scored on an interception return and also returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns.

Cheylin (4-5) had won three straight games.
