SALINA — Great Bend Panther Paige Stacey placed runner-up and Panther Mac Lindberg finished third at Thursday's Salina South tennis invitational. Great Bend (48) finished runner-up behind Junction City (60).

In final matches, Junction City's Hannah Micheel defeated Stacey 8-3 for first place and Lindberg downed Junction City's Zoey Micheel 8-2 for third place.

Salina Central's Taylor Schrader/Kodi Waite downed Panthers Brooklyn Reynolds/Baze Hogan 8-2 for fifth place. Panthers Beth Hammeke/Maddie Siefkes placed 13th with a 8-3 victory over Newton's Rory Duncan/Kaitlin Audley.
