ST. JOHN -- St. John quarterback Braxton Alpers had a milestone night to close out the regular season, recording his 100th tackle of the year and surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the Tigers.

St. John secured a playoff berth with a 60-14 win over Macksville, their third straight victory heading into the 8-Man Division 2 playoffs. The Tigers, riding that momentum, will travel to Argonia-Attica Thursday for the first round of the 8-Man 2 playoffs.
