Leiana Franco

Student Library Assistant Emma Clemons will be focusing on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column. Today’s Senior Spotlights are Leiana Franco and Walter Smith.

Leiana Franco is a senior at EHS. Her family members are Jesus and Rachel Franco, Jenaveve, Emeteria, and Jayston. Her favorite book that she would recommend is “Chicken Soup is Good for the Soul” because she likes all of their stories and how they have a bunch of other people’s stories, and it gives you a look/position of being in that person’s shoes. Her favorite quote is, “I don’t care that they stole my idea... I care that they don’t have any of their own,” - Nikola Tesla.

Leiana’s plan after graduation is to go to college and study Biomedical Engineering and learn all about it. Leiana’s greatest challenge was turning stuff in on time. Leliana’s advice for incoming students is to turn stuff in on time. We wish Leiana a great year in her senior chapter.

Walter Smith

Walter Smith is a senior at EHS. His family members are Cody, Kati, and Natalie. His favorite book that he would recommend is “Summer of the Monkeys” because he likes the story and it makes a lot of sense. His favorite quote is, “You can achieve anything if not more than what you see other people achieving and that’s facts.” - juice wrld.

Walter’s favorite class is Ag because he got to build a go-kart.

Walter’s greatest challenge was getting up and coming to school every morning. Walter’s advice for incoming students is to come prepared and don’t slack off and get stuff done. We wish Walter a great year in his senior chapter.
