Student Library Assistant Lexi Thomas will be highlighting different Ellinwood High School seniors throughout the school year in our “Check It Out” column. Each senior will answer questions from a selection of prompts, giving readers an opportunity to learn something new and unique about each student. This week’s Featured Senior Spotlight is Addison Stickney.

Addison Stickney is a senior at Ellinwood High School. Her family includes her parents, Marc and Mindy, and her siblings, Kenna, Walker, and Evyn.

When asked about a book she would recommend, Addison chose “Little Women,” describing it as a great story about overcoming hardships and going about it with grace. One thing people might be surprised to learn about Addison is that she has different colored eyes.

During her time at EHS, Addison has been involved in volleyball, basketball, track, NHS, FCA, and Yearbook. She feels that what makes EHS special is how close-knit everyone is, the relationships they build, and the amazing community that supports them in so many ways.

We wish Addison a wonderful senior year as she begins this exciting chapter of her life!
