LARNED — The murder trial of a Larned man accused in the shooting death of a Larned State Hospital clinician has been continued from the week of Oct. 27 to the week of Feb. 23-27, 2026. 

Michael E.G. Reynolds, 68, has been charged with the shooting death of Dr. Tomas Garza at a rural residence south of Larned on March 30, 2024. Reynolds was arrested without incident at the scene.

On Tuesday, Senior Judge Nancy Parrish granted the defense’s request for continuance. 

Reynolds remains in custody of the Pawnee County Jail.
