Great Bend Fire/EMS

Friday, they responded to eight Emergency Medical Services calls and one carbon monoxide check.

Saturday, they responded to five EMS calls.

Sunday, they responded to three EMS calls and one unauthorized burn in the 400 block of SW 60 Avenue at 3:30 a.m.

Monday, they responded to three EMS calls.


Great Bend Police

A search warrant was executed at 9:26 a.m. Friday in the 1800 block of Cottonwood Lane.

Fraudulent use of personal information was reported at 10:46 a.m. Friday in the 3200 block of 25th Street.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:17 p.m. Friday in the 3400 block of 10th Street.

A battery was reported 11:10 p.m. Friday. Jeff Brown was later located, arrested and booked for domestic criminal damage and domestic criminal battery. He was later released on a $5,000 surety bond.

A fight was reported at 2:12 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Main Street. 

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:44 p.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Main Street.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:08 p.m. Sunday in the 3900 block of 10th Street.

An assault was reported at 6:25 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Heizer Street. Effrain Carrillo-Vasquez was arrested and booked for aggravated burglary and aggravated assault in lieu of $75,000 bond. BCSO also responded to the call.

Officers took a case for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia at 1:08 a.m. Monday at Lakin Avenue and Lincoln Street.

The K-9 unit was dispatched to assist BCSO with a report of a possible narcotics violation at 11:25 a.m. Monday at U.S. 56 mile marker 208.

A sex offense was reported at 12:05 p.m. Monday.

A non-injury hit-and-run crash was reported at 6:50 p.m. Monday in the 2000 block of Morton Street.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:52 a.m. Friday at N. Washington Avenue and NE 20 Road, Great Bend.

The K-9 unit was dispatched at 10:16 a.m. Friday to the 1800 block of Cottonwood Lane, Great Bend.

Criminal damage was reported at 2:32 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of NE 100 Avenue, Claflin.

BCSO assisted outside law enforcement agencies at 4 p.m. Friday at 5 Arrowhead Drive in Lyons.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:35 p.m. Friday at U.S. 56 mile marker 197.

A non injury crash was reported at 8:27 p.m. Friday at 989 E. U.S. 56, Ellinwood.

An assault was reported at 6:25 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Heizer Street, Great Bend. 

Theft of property was reported at 10:55 p.m. Sunday at 1431 Broadway Ave., Great Bend.

A search warrant was executed at 9:31 a.m. Monday at 514 SW 20 Rd.

A possible narcotics violation was reported at 11:22 a.m. Monday at U.S. 56 mile marker 208.

A non-injury crash was reported at 11:18 p.m. Monday at U.S. 56 mile marker 226.
