HAYS — Amanda F. Schneider, 47, passed away on March 18, 2026. She was born on Sept. 9, 1978, to Roxanne (Finch) Schneider and William Schneider.

Amanda was the mother of Christopher Schneider Moore, Nicholas Brody Schneider, and Jensen Merritt. She loved her sons deeply and unconditionally. She also treasured the time she spent with her family and those closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Mura Bette Schneider; her parents, Roxanne and William Schneider; her grandparents, Robert and Betty Finch of Hays; and Beth and William Schneider of Bison.

Amanda will be remembered for her caring spirit, her love of family, and the lasting bond she shared with those who knew and loved her. Her memory will continue to live on through her sons and all whose lives she touched.

A graveside service will be held by the family at 2 p.m. on April 24, 2026, at Mount Allen Cemetery in Hays, Kan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Schneider family to assist with funeral expenses.
