TOPEKA — Eleanor Virginia Marie Daniels passed away on Sept. 29, 2025. Eleanor was born on April 26, 1934 in Great Bend, Kan. 

Eleanor married Theodore Daniels on Feb. 28, 1960, in Great Bend. The couple had six children, Sharita Farmer (Larry Sr.) of Topeka, Kan., Leslie Tatum (Leron) of Warrensburg, Mo., Patrick Daniels of Great Bend, Cassandra Jackson (Kimball) of Topeka Kan., Travis Daniels (Paula) and Jordan Daniels Great Bend, Kan. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lazzelle Guliford and Virginia Guliford; her husband Theodore Daniels; her siblings, Carson, Lazelle Jr., Lawrence, Ernest, Raymond, Alonzo and Rhonda; and her grandparents, Thompson, Charles Guliford and Lizzie Baugh. Eleanor is survived by her siblings, Sheldon Guliford and Lana Thompson of Wichita, Kan., Dale (Ruth) Guliford, Manhattan, Kan., Saxie Guliford and sister in-law Billye Guliford all of Manhattan, Kan., Wilma Jane Richardson, Toni (Lamar) Vereen, and Kevin Guliford all of Topeka Kan. She had 27 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 14th, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the El Shaddai Ministries Community Church, Topeka, with memorial service to follow. Graveside will take place on Oct. 15th, 2025 at Golden Belt Memorial Cemetery at noon.
