Francis Ann Everson 1940 - 2019

HUTCHINSON — Francis Ann Everson, 78, formerly of Hutchinson, died April 13, 2019, at Mayberry Gardens in Garland, Texas. She was born Aug. 9, 1940, to True Balus and Oneida (Coleman) Bell, in Paris, Ark.

Francis graduated from Great Bend High School in 1958. She was the church secretary for Park Place Christian Church, Hutchinson, and retired with many years of service. After her retirement, Francis moved to Garland, Texas, to be close to her family.  

On Nov. 29, 1964, she married Glen Milton Everson in Great Bend. He died Feb. 1, 1991.   

Francis is survived by sons, David Glen (Andrene) Everson, Springfield, Ore., and the Rev. Christopher John (Tracy) Everson, Garland, Texas; grandchildren, Deborah, Timothy and Jacob; great-grandson, Samuel; brothers, James R. (Vanessa) Bell, Olathe, and the Rev. Steven W. (Mary) Bell, Fort Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and granddaughter, Kari Everson.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 407 E. 12th, Hutchinson, with Pastor Quentin Nuttman and Pastor Henry Blickhahn officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, with the family present from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
