Rockie Joe Jones, 75, passed away on June 20, 2022, at home in Great Bend, Kan. He was born on July 17, 1946, at Pittsburg, Kan. to Earl and Noami (Neil) Jones. Rockie married Patricia Jarvis on Jan. 5, 1971, in McPherson, Kan. She survives.

A long-time resident of Great Bend coming from McPherson 28 years ago, Rockie worked as a service manager. He served clients of McPherson Business Machines, Central Office Products, and Office Products, Inc. He was an avid motorcyclist and a member of the Flatlanders Car Club.

Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Kris (Sara) Jones of Goddard; four grandchildren, Sienna (Nolan) Carmine, Madison, Leo and Ava Jones; one great-grandson, Nash Carmine; a brother, Neil Snyder of Colorado; and a sister, Penny Northness of N.M. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Services are pending for a later date. Memorials have been designated to American Cancer Society, Kindred Hospice, or Shriner Family Scholarship, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
