ELLINWOOD — Sandra A. Dixon, 74, passed away at Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington, KS on July 9th, 2019. Sandra was born on April 15, 1945 in LaCrosse, KS to parents Fidalis & Rose (Urban) Bascal. Mrs. Dixon was a resident of Ellinwood since 1964 formerly of LaCrosse, KS.  

Sandra is survived by husband of 50+ years David Dixon; son, Kevin (Allyson) Dixon; brothers, Kenny Basgal & Leon Basgal; and sister Angela Basgal. Other survivors include grandchildren; Tabitha Greathouse and Sarah Haas; and great-grandchild, Kameron Greathouse.   

Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Larry and Arvin Basgal; sister, El Vira Scheuerman; and daughter, Melissa Greathouse. 

Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 12th at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood, KS with Pastor Tom Reazin officiating. Burial will follow at Lakin-Comanche Cemetery in Ellinwood, KS. Memorials are directed to the family for expenses.
