Sherri Renee Brack, 61, of Great Bend, Kan., died Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan.

She was born on Feb. 24, 1965 in Hoisington, Kan., the daughter of Hilmer Gene Brack and Janis Elouise Stalcup Brack. Sherri was raised and attended schools in Hoisington.

For several years she had been a Surgery Technician at hospitals in Dodge City, Garden City, and in Oklahoma. She had also been a truck driver. Sherri had a passion for loving animals and she also raised dogs.

Survivors include her sisters Sandra Brack of McPherson and Shannon King of Great Bend, along with nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and several cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Sherri had requested that no services be held. A memorial has been established with the Great Bend Humane Society.
