To the editor:

I have tremendous respect for the Barton County Health Department and the Sheriff’s Department. The COVID vaccine drive-through events have been so well organized. Yesterday we were somewhere around 350 in line and once the vaccinations began at 9 a.m., we were on the way home at 10:20 a.m.

I thank you for your effort. In addition, the nurses and volunteers must be applauded for their work and for their good humor. Also, I had occasion to call the health department a couple of times and was greeted with cheerful answers to my questions that they had probably already answered many times.

Again, thank you for your effort and attitude!!
