Central Prairie League champion Ellinwood features Kennedy Behnke, Regan Widener and Kyndal Moore on the first team. The Eagles have swept eight consecutive CPL volleyball titles.

Behnke provided 395 serves, 286 winners, 121 blocks. Widener contributed 472 serves, 234 winners, 93 digs, 50 blocks. Moore produced 256 winners 59 blocks

Ellinwood (42-5) broke a school record for wins. The Eagles lost to Shawnee Maranatha 25-22, 25-17 and Inman 25-21 26-25, 25-18 to place third at the 2A state volleyball tournament. Ellinwood swept three pool matches Friday.

"Friday, we played at the highest level we played at all year," said Ellinwood coach Greg Maxwell. "They played like the best team in our pool. The girls were excited about getting a school record. It's a memorable season."

St. John's CPL runner-up featured Lydia Reed and Mia Meyer on the first team.
