Central Kansas Rampage qualifies for nationals

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Central Kansas Rampage 14 volleyball team has qualified for the USAV Girls Junior National Volleyball Championship June 27-30.

Central Kansas Rampage will start with several pool matches in the 64-team American Division.

“This year has been extremely challenging.  We stepped outside our comfort zone and pushed ourselves to play the best-of-the-best,” said coach Crystal Schroeder. “There have been amazing times as well as some ugly times. I’ve seen huge growth in these girls and their development, more than I’ve ever seen in one season.”

Schroeder said the team performed at a high level to qualify for nationals.

“At regionals, the girls stepped up and played amazing earning us a spot at nationals,” said Schroeder. “I’m excited to see how we perform. They’ve put in a lot of work to prepare and are looking strong. Being our second year at nationals, hopefully will settle down some nerves.”
