SCOTT CITY — Hoisington hurdler Samantha Colson swept the 100-meter hurdles (16.93) and 300 hurdles (50.65) to lead the Cardinals to second place at the Scott City Relays.

Maleigha Schmidt won the pole vault (10-0) followed by runner-up Jessi Kindscher (9-6).

Runner-up finishes were earned by Hoisington’s Xavier Robinson, long jump (21-11/4) and triple jump (42-9) and 

the girls 400-meter relay (52.22) with Maleigha Schmidt, Bailey Sanders, Suzanna Schneider and Samantha Colson.
