NESS CITY — Macksville coach Jeff Savage continues his miraculous turnaround with a hard fought 40-34 Central Prairie League football victory over Ness City Friday.

Mustang quarterback Brandon Franklin threw four touchdown passes and rushed for a fifth touchdown.

Macksville has edged Pretty Prairie 50-44 and beat St. John 52-6. Ness City beat St. John 38-36 and La Crosse 30-22.
