CENTRAL PLAINS 41, LITTLE RIVER 27 – Central Plains' Peyton Ryan scored 18 points with a trio of 3-pointers as the Oilers kept momentum heading to postseason with a solid 41-27 non-league basketball victory over Little River.

The Oilers outscored Little River 29-10 in the second half. Brodie Crites added eight points for the Oilers (16-4), who play Kinsley Thursday in substate play. Little River's Logan Renken scored 12 points.

"The first half was tough. The ball didn’t go in the hoop," said Oiler coach Michael Ryan. “The second half we really turned it around. I’m proud of the guys’ effort. Every game we are getting better and learning. Hopefully we can use some of the knowledge we have from these close games in postseason.”
